Thursday, October 13th, 2011

If you are arriving early, please let us know.  We are thinking about going to Ohana's for supper on Thursday.  This is the best hibachi grill you'll ever eat at.

Friday, October 14th, 2011

2PM - Check-in starts at the hotel.

6PM - Vendors can start setting up.  Vending will be done in the same room where we gather, so you'll be able to sell whenever we are in the room.  The room will be locked when we are not using it.

7PM - ?: Welcome Party & Potluck.  Bring some food or drink if you are able.  Vendors will be set up, so you can start buying some fun goodies.  This is your chance to shop for some great sugar glider goodies!  Click here to check out our list of vendors.  At 8PM, we'll start "Toy Time" - Everyone will get to make a sugar glider toy to take home with them.  This will be a fun time to sit around the tables & get to know each other, while making something fun for our fur kids.  During this time, each vendor will get 3 minutes to tell us about their business and what they do.  After toy time, we can enjoy the court yards, pool, game room, and hanging out with everyone at the hotel.

Saturday, October 15th, 2011

Morning: Enjoy your complimentary breakfast at the hotel.  Per request from the hotel, please do not take your pets into the breakfast room.

11:00PM - 5:00PM: Gather & head out to the Great Iowa Pet Expo.  We can stay and play there as long as we want, then return to the hotel and enjoy the pool and relax.

6PM - 7PM: Pizza party in the meeting room (included in your registration).  Raffles for free sugar glider goodies will be held during this time. You must be present to win.

7PM - 7:30PM: We will be doing a greedy glider (aka white elephant or greedy santa) gift exchange. If you would like to participate, please bring a wrapped glider-related gift valued at $15-20 (If you want, you can pick something up from one of our vendors before this).

7:30PM - ?: We have some fun games planned for the group.  These will be fun group games that any able-bodied person can enjoy.  Vendors can tear down after the games and we can stay up and hang out as long as we want.

Most people will be eating breakfast and checking out. For those who are sticking around a little longer, we have a few ideas for things to do.  First, you are more than welcome to come to church with us at 11:00.  The church is Des Moines First Assembly on Merle Hay Road.  We could go to lunch somewhere together.  If anyone is staying in town a bit longer, we can recommend other things to do in the afternoon.
